Questions & Fees

Let’s get started, what is your fee?

I work on an hourly fee with a minimum two hour first meeting billing. When I shop for staging items for your home it is on a cost plus time basis. Decorating, consulting (virtually or in person) or painting are all hourly.

Do you do consulting?

Yes, I consult on staging for home owners who want me to handle it or want to do it all themselves. I’m honest and “kindly candid” about what should stay or go. I even create one day or one-room rearranging for clients. I have customers who employ me to shop with them for furniture for a new look.

Why can’t we just show it empty?

If you remove all your belongings it will be lifeless, but in my staged homes I use your items or additional purchases as tools to help people remember your home. I have a unique way of making things work in harmony with each other.

You have heard that people say to make every room neutral and remove all the family photos when selling a house.  I simply do not believe that.  My homes tell a story, invoking memories that buyers will see in your photos and remember from their own lives.

About colors, why not just ivory?

Neutral colors do not mean just white or tan. Neutral is many shades on the color pallet and I can help you select neutral colors so you will offer a pleasant home, not a stark home without memories or imagination.

You may have noticed that Gray is the hot new “in” color. Modern and edgy, yet timeless and classic. Call it the little black dress for your home if you will. So what other colors are neutral because gray might not be the right choice you ask. Well I have just the answer for you!

Paint is the most refreshing and inexpensive decision you can make when it comes to preparing your home for sale. I have the entire line of paint colors to show you or allow me to select the right color for your home.

About your floral arrangements?

I have many corporate clients that use my silk flower arrangements throughout their offices and senior living homes to brighten up conference rooms, offices, dining and public spaces. I would love to make some for you. They’re tailored to compliment your existing color schemes and they never need to be watered.
